Deane G. Keller
(August 1, 1940–January 4, 2005)
Deane G. Keller has a BA in Art History from Yale University and a BFA in sculpture and painting from the Herron Art Insitute, Indiana University; and an MA in education from St. Joseph College. He studied figure drawing and anatomy with his father at Yale; anatomy and sculpture under David K. Rubens; and drawing at the studio of Nera Simi in Florence, Italy. He is the chair of Classical Drawing and Figurative Art at the Lyme Academy of Fine Arts. His work is represented in private and public collections such as the Slater Memorial Museum, Wadsworth Atheneum, and the Brandywine River Museum.
