A yarn sewn rug in two-ply wool on tabby woven linen ground with uncut pile. The background is black with a border of green and yellow leaves of alternating design. In the center of the long side, is a vase of red, green, gold and brown flowers encircled by a flowering vine. The rug is bound with brown tape and has been backed with modern burlap. There is a tag sewn on the back, "gift of Miss Mabel Harris".
