Historical views on Staffordshire plate depicting Lafayette landing at Castle Garden, NY on August 16, 1824 in a blue transfer print. The plate is English pearlware with an earthenware body and lead glaze and was made at the pottery of Ralph & James Clews in Cobridge, Staffordshire.
