An English jasperware candleholder (a) and extinguisher (b). The candleholder is a saucer with a socket and a ring handle. The extinguisher rests on a cone shaped support. The body is light blue decorated with sprigged figures depicting mythological scenes. They were made in the Wedgewood pottery at Burslem, Staffordshire.
