A charcoal figure study of a nude male model, holding a stick. Done in Mr. Curren's Life Class at National Academy of Design (per inscription on drawing). Another drawing (1997.10.23b) appears on back of sheet. Part of 85 sketches by George and Bertram Bruestle including landscapes, portraits, figurative, and architectural. They were retrieved from the Bruestle house in Lyme after Mrs. Bruestle's death in 1997.
