A charcoal figure study of a Classical sculpture of a man holding a discus, seen from the back. Academic drawing done in the Antique class at the National Academy of Design. Part of 85 sketches by George and Bertram Bruestle including landscapes, portraits, figurative, and architectural. They were retrieved from the Bruestle house in Lyme after Mrs. Bruestle's death in 1997.
