A hand-decorated porcelain plate typical of the type of china painting that was taught at the Griswold Home School. This plate was painted by Florence Griswold's sister Louise Augusta. It was one of four Griswold Home School plates purchased by a Michigan antiques dealer from the 1938 auction of Florence Griswold's possessions.
