A hand-decorated porcelain plate typical of the type of china painting that was taught at the Griswold Home School. This plate was painted by Louise Augusta Griswold, Florence Griswold's older sister. It was one of four plates purchased by a Michigan antiques dealer from the auction sale of Florence Griswold's possessions in 1938.
