The chair is maple (seat and legs) and ash (turned spindles, stretchers, bent arm back and crest rail). Old Repairs: Old: iron plates screwed to seat bottom to secure an old split and Modern: legs re0secured to seat with wood glue, large repair patch on left armrest, modern refinish throughout.40
