Gift includes first hand documentation of the table's use by Florence Griswold's parents, Captain Robert Harper Griswold and his wife Helen Powers Griswold. Donor John C. O'Brien's grandmother Nella O'Brien and his aunt Julia O'Brien visited the Griswold House and purchased the table directly from Miss Florence as a gift to J.
