This sampler is done in cross-stitch with blue, green, brown and white floss. It consists of four horizontal rows, each divided by a solid line of cross-stitch, and each having its own design. The topmost row has lettering which reads "NEDLE WORK ----- SX" with a threadbare spot in the center of the line. The second and third horizontal rows have a series of absctract bushes and trees in different colors. The bottom row has a series of abstract flowers and vines alternating with geometric patterns. There appears to have been another row on top which was cut off during framing.
