A clear glass lamp chimney formed into a slender tube which constricts at the bottom, then widens to form a slightly broader base. Chimneys of this type were used on lamps with Argand burners in the 1870s. This belongs to a set of 6 chimneys which may have all been part of a hanging lamp fixture with several fonts.
