A three-section secretary with burled walnut veneer. The top section with applied shaped cornice over two flat panel doors with beveled edge mirrors enclosing interior with adjustable shelves. The middle section with slant lid enclosing an interior with eight small drawers and one long document drawer, six pidgeon hole compartments, and case with two small drawers. The bottom section has applied modling over the case with three long, graduated drawers with simulated double drawer fronts. All of the drawers have herringbone banding. The piece is supported by straight bracket feet. Oak is the secondary wood. The hardware is not original.
