The bodice (a) and skirt (b) of a Victorian dress. The dress has a purple background with white geometric design. The bodice has nine stays and hooks up the front with the front closing of veiled lace with bows. A back yoke is outlined by accordian silk. The skirt, with hooks at the waist line, is very full and lined with purple silk. It is marked on the waiste strap, "M. Mulball 67 E. 54th St. New York." The dress belonged to the donor's grandmother, Marianne Page Ely.
