A heavy rectangular machine for removing kernels from corn cobs. There are two large iron wheels with teeth on the top and a ;arge iron wheel on the outside back of the works with a crank on the front. A shute for emitting corn emerges from the right side. It was made in Chicopee Massachusetts by Whittemore, Belcher & Company and is marked "Improved Corn Sheller/First Premium Corn Sheller."
