A bannister-back side chair with four split bannisters, vase and ring-shaped uprights terminating in ball-shaped finials. The bannisters are surmounted by an arched carved and peirced cresting in a variation of the Prince of Wales feather crest. The seat is trapezoidal made of rush. The front box stretcher is pronounced with ring and ball turnings, while the four side and one back stretcher are plain. The front uprights are vase and ring-shaped will ball feet.
