A framed fan with gold sequins in foliate design on off-white silk fabric. It has a tortoiseshell support with gold foliate design. The frame is gold leaf with beading around the inner and outer edges. It is lined with black velvet. This fan belonged to Adaline Nisbitt Whitney.
