A mink muff with silk lining and a round handle possibly made of bakelite or plastic to resemble tortoiseshell. It was formerly owned by Elizabeth Diodate Griswold Lane (1825-1910), the youngest daughter of Gov. Roger Griswold, sister of Robert Harper Griswold, Florence's father. She married judge William Griswold Lane.
