A snow-covered village scene with mountain peaks in the background, a white church midground, and a post and rail fence crossing in the foreground. Little is known about Singer's association with the art colony at Old Lyme, except that was close friends with several Old Lyme artists (particularly Walter Griffin and Willard Metcalf) and that he exhibited there in 1907. He and his wife took up permanent residence in the mountainous village of Olden, Norway in 1913.
