A four post Empire period bed probably of New York origins having acorn finials, bold acanthus leaf carved tops, middle and lower sections, a boldly reeded segment between the upper leaf carved sections. The area betweeen the lower leaf-carved sectionis plain and squared-off. The headboard is paneled. The feet rest on casters.
