Nelson C. White is teh son onf Henry C White (1861-1952), a student and later friend of Dwight W. Tryon, who shared a preference for the more subdued effects of spring and fall. In the tradtion of his father and friend, Nelson White painted in muted tones with feathery brushstrokes.
