Object among those contained in the large wood paint supply box. Thick upper grip which quickly tapers to a very thin bottom portion. Grip is stained a dark red, tip is intact, a small '4' marking is on the upper grip, no additional writing. Where a metal neck would be there is an opaque plastic-like substance held in place by four bands of wire. The brush is very large, flared, with a flat tip, long variegated brown bristles.
