Paint tube appears to have contained a yellow/gold pigment (found in the cardboard box bottom). The tube is heavily tarnished, dirty, darkened, and about 3/4 of the bottom portion is folded up. One side of the tube is darker than the other (an image of this can be found in the Surrogate List). The paper label is very damaged on the darker side. On the lighter side of the tube the label appears to have a black background, yellow border, and a faint strip desgn through the middle. The the upper rim of the tube appears to have raised writing that is unreadable due to a dried substance covering it. The twist on cap has a raised scrolling leaf design.
