A whitework quilt with a flower, vines and leaves motif repeated throughout. Along the edge are raised dots and fiddlehead ferns. There is a paper label attached to a corner which reads, "Made by Emily A. Jewett, 1826. In the attic of the Matthew Jewett House." Emily A. Jewett (b. 1798) married Matthew Clarke in 1831. This quilt was made when she was 16 years old.
