Guy A. Wiggins is the grandson of Carleton Wiggins, an original Lyme art colonist and son of Guy C. Wiggins, a well-known American Impressionist celebrated for his views of New York in snow. Guy A. Wiggins was born and raised in Lyme. "Rhododendron in Flower" is a painting of large violet and white rhododendron flowers against a background of a city building.
