A naively painted scene of the Resurrection showing Christ in front of the tomb. To the left greets Mary, Mary Magdalene, and Ann. To the right in the distance behind them is a city. The artist's name, Abigail Coult, is stamped on the bottom. The lower left of the picture has been torn away and repaired. It bears the watermark "Buden & W-mott, 1809."
