Portrait of a young, blond haired woman wearing a full-lenght white dress, and a blond boy in a white shirt and trousers. (Mrs. Virginia Brown and Anson Swan Brown, age four). Griffin painted the portrait posthumously, using photographs, after Mrs. Brown died in February 1907. He modeled the face of her son from life.
