Long, rectangular wood box, lid fits the portable folding wood palette. A large split runs through a portion of the lid. Dark brown finish, rounded edges, 2 metal hook latches to the left and right on the front. Between the latches at center is a key hole with a decorative diamond shaped metal plate. On the exterior front of the bottom tray is a wide leather handle attached by metal tacks and ring hooks. Three metal hinges allow the lid to open length wise. The interior bottom tray is separated into three sections by metal dividers, two large and one small which holds two rectangular metal containers which are heavily stained, tarnished and marked with paint. Box holds a variety of paint supplies.
