Squat, bulbous ceramic container. Glazed with a light blue background with a cobalt blue painted landscape. The circular lid also has cobalt blue painted designs on the top, the lower lip of the lid has a large piece missing, appears to have been broken in half and repaired, also has 3 large crack on the top (The lid is pre-numbered with an accession number of 93.7.4a). The base of the container is wrapped in caning in a criss-cross/diamond pattern. Container found on the side table on the portrait stage.
