An English or Chinese mirror made for the western market in the early 19th century. It has an architectural type looking glass with a Greek Revival style frame. The "eglomise" panel is painted glass and depicts a somewhat oriental-style house and trees. The background is blue-green and the house is goldleaf. A classical swag crosses the top of the panel. The pediment of the frame has 11 balls decorating it (1 is missing).
