The work and career of Paul Saling represents the ongoing legacy of the Lyme Art Colony during the 1920s and 30s. During these years, a younger generation of painters was attracted to the region's scenic beauty and strong artistic tradition. After study abroad and in this country, Saling exhibited in Lyme.
