An English stoneware pitcher made from a type of black stoneware known as basalt. It has a pear-shaped body and a round foot. The lower portion of the body is ribbed and the spout has relief decoration. : Black basalt with engine-turned vertical ribs, press-molded handle and snip, footed baluster. Lacking lid.
