A baluster-shaped, urn-like vase with lid. the background is a basketweave design. Vertical panels outlined in blue with gold flowers decorate the front and back. The base is outlined by a 1/8" band of blue with gold stars. This band is repeated around the top. The lid has 4 panels similar to those on the sides of the base. there is a dog with no head on the very top.

Tall, large ceramic piece with a lid. Curved, rounded shape. Thin, short neck extends into a curved, bulbous upper which narrows and thins at the bottom. The bottom base flares out slightly. The lid is circular, with a domed top and a thin, flat edge. What appears to be a decorative lizard-like figure is perched on top of the domed portion of the lid, the head of the figure is broken off, the body is dotted with gold leaf. The background of the main portion of the piece is a small raised basket weave design, very faint grey/white on color. The remainder of the exterior treatment includes highlighted pannels, 2 large - one on either side. Acompanied by 4 small pannels - 2 on either side. All have slightly raised borders, curvilinear in shape. The pannels feature cobalt blue, gold and red floral designs with a white background. The lid has 4 similar pannels as the base, with a smaller basket weave design and a red & gold band around the outer edge. The lid has one repaired break, and a large piece of the flat outer rim is broken off. The lid is bonded to the base.
