A painting of three people beside a stream in the woods. Artists George Burr, William Chadwick, Charles Ebert, Will Howe Foote, Harry Hoffman, Gregory Smith, and their wives were at Devils Hopyard for a picnic. Burr began painting another party. The other artists pitched in and began creating the"masterpiece" in the spirit of the moment. The result was a painting by the six artists combined. Ca. 1912-1913.
