View of a farm building seen from across a road. A large sign hangs over the door "Early Dawn Farm." There is a snow drift against the stone wall and building, and a large tree at the right casting shadows. In the late 1940s, Evans and his first wife were encouraged by their friends, Billie and Clark Voorhees, to visit Lyme. They later owned a weekend retreat off Beaver Brook Road. Early Dawn Farm was run by R.M. Peck.
