Drawing of a landscape along the banks of a river. Robert Minor studied briefly in New York City before going to Europe. He studied with Boulanger in Paris and is considered an important exponent of the American Barbizon School. Minor is best known as a member of the art colony in Old Lyme, Connecticut where he spent many summers.
