A cherry tea table, possibly of Connecticut origin, made in the early 19th century. It has a circular top on a vase and ring-turned post. It has a tripod cabriole leg base. This table was originally owned by Florence Griswold and was put up for auction after her death. It was purchased by an antique's dealer from Michigan who decided not to resell it, but rather to keep it for his own use.
