A Victorian side chair, painted black with a rush seat. The center splat has pieced quatre-foil and incised line decoration, flanked by 2 spindles. The spindels and splat are resting on a scalloped lower slat. There is shallow relief carving and s-curves on the top of the crest rail. There is a kidney-shaped hole in the center of the crest rail.
