A black, lacquered wooden box with chinoiserie and mother-of-pearly inlay on the top. There is delicate gold leaf foliation on the top corners. Oriental scenes appear on al sides of the box. There is a small key hole in front. The box has brass hinges. The interior of the box is lined with blue velvet. The bottles are square, hand cut glass with stoppers. The top rim is octagonal. there is some gold leafing on the bottles. The label is torn. All that is legible is "Washington - Two Doors of Summer - Boston."
